You forgave them. But the pain is still there.

You chose to forgive (even if they never apologized!) and tried to move on.

But then they say something that gets under your skin. You have to interact with them again. Or you’re lying in bed replaying what happened, feeling the anger, the sadness, or that familiar knot in your stomach.

And you wonder, Why am I still hurting if I’ve already forgiven them?

Here’s what you need to understand: Forgiveness and healing are not the same thing.

If someone dropped a brick on your foot, you can forgive them, but your foot still needs care. Forgiving the person doesn’t automatically heal the injury.

The same is true of emotional wounds. You can forgive someone and still need to heal from what happened.

And you don’t have to keep pushing down the pain and calling it healing.

You're Invited to a FREE Group Coaching Session

Together we'll explore how to:

✔️  Understand why the pain can linger even after you’ve forgiven.

✔️  Recognize what triggers you and why certain interactions still hurt so much.

✔️  Stop replaying old offenses and carrying the pain into today.

✔️  Set healthy boundaries without guilt or bitterness.

✔️  Adjust your expectations of others without closing your heart.

✔️  Begin reclaiming your peace, even when the person who hurt you hasn’t changed.

This is about learning how to move forward without letting yesterday’s pain keep stealing today’s peace.

✔️ You're struggling to forgive someone, even though you know forgiveness is necessary.

✔️ You're hoping for or waiting on the person who hurt you to apologize in order to move on.

✔️ You keep crying, feel angry, or can't focus throughout the day because you keep replaying what happened.

✔️ Part of you wants the person who hurt you to experience the same pain they caused you.

This message is deeply personal for me.

Having grown up with abusive, alcoholic parents and countless painful situations, I am no stranger to the importance of forgiveness.

Through my own healing journey and more than 25 years of helping others heal, I have learned this:

Forgiveness is the first step that opens the door to healing — AND THEN there are actual steps we must take to heal the wounds that remain.

I am deeply grateful that the Lord has given me keys that have helped me heal and have helped hundreds of others find healing too.

If you are ready to stop simply carrying the pain and begin truly healing, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

I hope you will join me.
